จอแอลอีดี (LED Display) คืออะไร

 ปัจจุบันจอแอลอีดี ได้รับความนิยมอย่างแพร่หลาย เรามักจะพบเห็นจอแอลอีดีอยู่ในทุกทีเต็มไปหมด ไม่ว่าจะเป็นตามสี่แยกไฟแดง สถานีรถไฟฟ้า ตึกอาคาร และอื่นๆอีกมากมาย ซึ่งเรียกได้ว่าแทบจะอยู่ในชีวิตประจำวันเลยก็ว่าได้ แล้วเคยสงสัยกันไหมล่ะ… ว่าไอเจ้าจอสี่เหลี่ยมที่เห็นกันอยู่ทุกวันเนี่ย มันคืออะไร มันทำงานยังไง วันนี้เราจะพาทำความรู้จักกันครับ
จอ LED หรือ LED display LED ย่อมาจาก Light-emitting-diode ซึ่งหมายถึงกระบวนการที่ใช้กระแสไฟฟ้าส่องสว่างด้านหลังจอ หรือที่เรียกว่า backlight โดยใช้ระบบการฉายภาพด้วยหลอดไฟขนาดเล็กที่เรียกว่าหลอด LED ตัวหลอด LEDจะทำหน้าที่เป็นตัวเกิดแสง และผลึกคริสตัลที่เป็นของแข็งกึ่งของเหลว 3 สี คือสีแดง น้ำเงิน และเขียว บิดตัวเป็นองศาเพื่อให้แสงไฟจาก LED ส่องผ่าน และฉายออกไปเป็นภาพสีสันสวยงามบนหน้าจอ พูดอย่างง่ายๆ ก็คือ เกิดจากการฉายแสงด้านหลังจอ ส่งผ่านไปยังหลอด LED แล้วเจ้าตัวหลอดLED จะผสมสีกันเอง ทำให้แสดงภาพออกมา ลักษณะของภาพที่ได้ก็จะเป็นพิกเซล หรือจุดเล็กๆหลายจุด เรียงต่อกันเป็นภาพนั่นเอง เมื่อเราเข้าใจหลักการทำงานเบื้องต้นของจอ LED แล้ว เราจะมาบอกว่าข้อดีของจอ LED ดีกว่าจอประเภทอื่นอย่างไรกัน
สำหรับข้อดีของจอ LED นั้น ข้อแรก เลือกขนาดได้ตามใจชอบ อยากให้จอมีอยากให้ใหญ่เท่าไหร่ก็สามารถทำได้ และอยากให้จอปรับรูปร่างเป็นแบบใดก็เลย
ข้อสอง มีสีสันที่สวยงาม สีภาพชัด ไม่เพี้ยน เนื่องจากตัวเม็ดสีของจอ สามารถผสมสีได้ 28 ล้านสี จึงทำให้สีไม่เพี้ยน ภาพคมชัด เหมาะกับงานได้ทุกรูปแบบ
ข้อสาม ดูดีทันสมัย มีลูกเล่น สามารถใส่ไอเดียในการนำเสนองานได้อย่างเต็มที่ ไม่ว่าเล่นไฟล์แบบรูป หรือ แบบวิดีโอก็สามารถทำได้เลย ไม่มีปัญหาอย่างแน่นอน
และข้อสุดท้าย จอ LED มีอายุการใช้ยาวงาน เพราะตัวหลอด LED มีอายุการใช้งานนานกว่า 100,000 ชั่วโมงเลยทีเดียว ใช้งานระยะยาวได้งานสบายใจ ไร้กังวล และตัวจอ LED เอง ก็ถูกผลิตออกมาให้ประหยัดพลังงาน ใช้พลังงานต่ำ สามารถใช้งานอย่างยาวๆได้เลย
